Conor Brown is back for round two on the podcast. He is the co-owner of Magical Park Tours, where he guides families through the Walt Disney Parks and helps them have a stress-free experience. He deals with the strategy, so families don’t waste time or money.
[05:50] START PLANNING EARLY
Conor starts with one of five tips for Disney planning. His first tip is to start planning early. Disney releases their packages a year in advance. Booking early will help ensure availability. Deposits can be refunded up to thirty days before your trip starts.
[16:40] TRAVEL AGENT
His second tip is to use a travel agent. He talks about how important it is, now more than ever. They keep track of all the details and the changes. They will also know the best places to look to get you the best deals.
[23:53] STRATEGIZE
Having a plan will help you have a good time. Pick things that appeal to your family. Map out your days so you know where you are going. Don’t waste time and money on wandering around looking at maps.
[28:17] GET UP EARLY
Conor talks about how planning out your day and getting up on time will help manage expectations. It may not be easy for a family, but if you plan to do it, it will help make it happen. It will be less crowded and less stressful to be there when the park opens.
[39:56] DON’T TRY TO SEE AND DO IT ALL
Disney is huge. Conor’s biggest tip is to not try to see and do it all. Don’t push yourself. Give yourself time to enjoy the things you have planned out.
