In this episode, I share a conversation from my Energize Live community with special guest Megan Davies. We talk about goals over the holidays and turning that wellness journey into a lifelong action. We talk about consistency and the small steps to take for big results.
[03:23] GOALS
When people decide to get on track with their health and wellness goals, they tend to take on a lot and go over the top when they don’t need to. It’s better to figure out what obstacles are in the way and take on a little bit at a time to not put so much pressure on the goals.
[11:39] TRAINING FOR LIFE
It’s completely acceptable to have both big and little goals, for short term or long term results. When it comes to overall wellness however, it should be a lifelong journey and training for life. People should want to stay relatively consistent in overall wellness to feel good over their lifetime.
[17:55] ACTIONS
Megan talks about health and fitness looking different for everyone. Health is all about eating the right kinds of foods and staying active. Some people will look different than others in the process, but the reflection is on actions versus looks.
