And on this podcast, we are talking about big dreams, big goals, and the small daily habits you need to do to make them happen. Welcome to the Crank It Up Podcast. Oh my goodness. We are back. We took a little bit of a hiatus. We took a little bit of a break, but we are back. And in this podcast episode I just wanna talk to you a little bit. I’m just human to human, you know, human to human about taking a break  and why I’ve come back and all the things.

And I want this to be, like a little shot of motivation for you even though you create your own motivation. I want it to be a little shot of energize for you. I want this to be a reminder of just how stinking powerful you are, how smart you are, how strong you are, and I want it to be a healthy dose of truth love as well. 

And, you know, we were kind of on that track, and then we got to a place in December of 2022, the And I just needed a break. I needed a recalibration. Sometimes you just need to take a pause and then put some thought into, like, is this going the direction that I wanted it to go? And I love connecting with people. 

I love watching the light bulb go off in someone’s eyes when they realize just how strong they are. I love bringing these experiences and this knowledge that I’ve been blessed enough to kind of gather over my years on this planet and sharing them with you in the hopes that it shortens your learning curve.

Core belief in a woman’s need to crank up ambition, habits, goals, and life

I love all of that. And sometimes I kinda get in my own way. The Right? Because we all do. And I just needed to take a pause and recalibrate, like, where do I wanna go with this, and what is my core belief In all of this, in my core belief in all of this is that, women, I’m talking to you, we need to crank up our the ambition. We need to crank up our habits. We need to crank up our goals. We need to crank up our life. We need to crank it up.

So I come back to you with this podcast in the hopes that I can help you do that, in the hopes that I can offer stuff that I’ve learned, stuff that I’ve experienced as well as guests that we’ll have on that will remind you that you are so capable. 

You’re wildly capable and that any goal, any dream that you have, you can accomplish as long as you connect it with your habits. Now I do have a rule for you. As we get into this podcast, I do have a rule for you, the 

And it’s kind of like your mantra. And it’s not just for this podcast. I really think it’s for any book, any podcast, any speaker, any anything, and it’s this. I want you to manage your expectations. Now what do I mean by that? I mean that it’s not anyone else’s job to create momentum for you.

Acknowledgement of personal responsibility for creating momentum

Take that in for a moment. It’s not anyone else’s job to create momentum for you. So as you listen to this podcast, any podcast, if you read any book, listen to any speaker, whatever, manage your expectations because it’s not anyone else’s job to do the action for you. 

And you might come to a book, to a podcast, to a relationship, to a situation, to an event, to a person expecting that that’s where the magic is, when all along you already know that the magic is in you. You are what will take the action after you listen to a podcast. You are what will create the habits to crank up your ambition. You are who will make the change. This.

You are who will make the impact. You are what will make the change in your life. We can be inspired by. We can be incentivized by, we can be catalyzed by, powered by, enlightened by, educated by anything that we come into contact with, whether it’s a book, a podcast, a speaker, a relationship, an event. 

Yes. And I the I want you to manage your expectations coming into this podcast, any podcast, a book, any book, a person, any person, Anything that might have incredible insights or information that they’re gonna take from their brain and they’re gonna share it with you coming into any of that the with the expectation that they’re going to motivate you, we gotta manage that because it’s incumbent upon each of us to take the action, the to do the work to create our own momentum. 

So as we come back into this podcast, this both new and old space, It’s comforting. Like, we’ve been here before, you and I.

Unlocking Your Untapped Potential:

We’ve been down this road, but maybe this time we’re driving a different car. Maybe this time we’re taking a little different route. And as we come back into this together, figuring it out along the way together, manage your expectations, and I’m gonna work hard to manage mine of my own self too. 

And understand that as you listen to this, I truly want this to be the voice in your life that reminds you to get into the driver’s seat of your life. I truly want it to be a voice in your life that reminds you you have this so much untapped potential. You have so much possibility. You are so strong. You are so capable.

You have so much ability in your life. You’re so much smarter than you give yourself credit for, and I would love to be a voice in your life that reminds you of that. And as often as I say it, you don’t need permission from anyone to do anything in your life to go create your life on purpose to go crank it up.

And if there are days when you feel like you’re needing some permission, then I hope maybe I can be that voice that gives it to you. I hope I can be the voice that gives you that reminder. I hope I can give you a little inspiration. 

And then it’s up to you to take action on that feeling. 

It’s up to you to take those feelings and do something with it. So however you feel at the end of a podcast, at the end of a book, at the end of a conversation, at the end of an event, at the end of meeting someone, being around someone, being in communities of high vibe humans, however you feel, that’s awesome.

And it’s important that you keep your bucket filled with those kinds of feelings. But what’s just as important is that you take action on those feelings, and that will be the most important part. 

After you listen to this podcast or any book or podcast or any event or any conversation, anything, the most important part will always come down to you the Taking action. One of the bits that will help you continue to take action is continuing to be intentional about putting what you’re putting in your ear. 

Get really intentional about what you’re putting in your ear, in your head, in your heart on a regular basis. And, again, I hope I can be that voice for you that reminds you that you’re really freaking awesome even when you forget sometimes. We all need that. Right? Get out of the passenger seat. Get into the driver’s seat. Create your life on purpose with purpose.

I hope to be that voice for you because I think part of what helps us move forward every day, take the next steps. Taking the actions that develop into habits is intentionally putting the voices in our life so that we do stay on track, so that we are continually reminded that we’re pretty freaking awesome. 

Take Action: Inspiration is great, but it’s the actions we take that bring about real change and growth. After listening to this episode (or any other source of inspiration), challenge yourself to take action and make progress towards your goals. Your life will transform when you consistently turn your feelings into actions.

So manage your expectations coming into this podcast and know at the end of the day, you and always you are in charge of your own momentum. You are where the magic is.
