Don’t let the cookouts and barbecues undo all your hard work! Sure, enjoy the holiday but you can stay on track. Here are my top tips:

  1. Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate! Even if you don’t think you’re thirsty, drink water! This is a great way to combat over-eating while also keeping your body hydrated and regulated.
  2. Keep moving! This is the beauty of Beachbody on Demand, you can take your workouts (and trainers!) with you! So make a plan, press play and get.it.done.
  3. Choose your treats. You should enjoy your holiday weekend, but that doesn’t mean you have to have EVERYTHING at the dessert table. Pick one, maybe two of your faves and then walk away. A great motto from 2B Mindset is, one bite for a taste, then walk away.

One of the best ways I’ve found to stay on track at holiday functions is to bring food I LOVE to share with others. Who said you can’t have a delish Disney Kale Salad at the family cookout?!
